Helping children feel safe, understood, and ready to thrive.

I’m Christine Hawkes, a Lincolnshire based Licensed Thrive Practitioner and qualified teacher with over 30 years of experience in education. I specialise in working with children who are struggling emotionally, socially, or behaviourally in school.

My work is child-led, trauma-informed, and rooted in building strong, trusting relationships. I support children who may feel overwhelmed, disengaged, or unable to access learning – helping them feel safe, valued, and ready to thrive

Relationships are everything. When a child feels understood, everything else can begin to fall into place.

I have been a qualified teacher since 1994 and have worked across mainstream schools, independent settings, and Alternative Provision. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of children who struggle to engage with education.

My passion is reaching those children – the ones who may be distressed, disengaged, or difficult to reach – and helping them rebuild trust, regulate their emotions, and form positive relationships.

I am

My work is influenced by leading thinkers in attachment, neuroscience, and child development, and grounded in a person-centred approach where the child’s voice is always central.
